Kilikili works to ensure that play facilities are accessible to all children, irrespective of their abilities. In partnership with the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike we have developed the play space in Coles Park as India’s first universally accessible play space. We are currently designing programmes that will integrate children of all abilities through play as well as working to make more parks accessible. Generating awareness on the developmental importance of play through publications, training programmes etc. is a key area of work. Kilikili also offers consultancy services in the areas of barrier-free architecture, designing accessible play spaces and developing play and recreation programmes.
