HOSMAT has outpatient and inpatient facilities in the areas of orthopaedics, neurosurgery, plastic surgery and ENT. It has one of the largest physiotherapy centres in the city, and an occupational therapy unit. Its orthotic centre manufactures artificial limbs, braces, and other physical aids and appliances. It has also set up the Handicapped Children's Foundation (HCF), a charitable trust that raises funds through individual and corporate donations. The fund assists children with polio, congenital deformities that can be orthopaedically corrected, and accident victims who cannot afford treatment.
