SERIC has a reference library of books on education in Kannada and English. This includes books on teaching methodology, philosophy, psychology and economics of education, as well as National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) publications. The membership fee is Rs. 10. For students and children up to Std 10, it has a reference library, and it also conducts quiz, drawing and painting competitions. It has four branches in the city.
