Asha Kiran is an integrated school for children with mental retardation, learning, speech and hearing disability, and slow learners. It follows the National Open School curriculum. It has speech therapy for hearing impaired children, and remedial teaching for slow learners and children with learning disability. It assists children with mental retardation who can be educated, and also helps educate children from nearby slums. It holds seminars for parents and teachers of children with special needs.
