SSK has a school for children with cerebral palsy, developmental delays, neuro-muscular disorders and slow learners. It follows the National Open School curriculum, and offers creative and pre-vocational skills. It also has a vocational training centre for adolescents and young adults. It has a Diagnostic and Research Centre (DRC) with specialists in the areas of paediatric neurology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology and ENT. It offers psychological, and speech assessment, and speech therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. It has a remedial programme for children with learning disability and slow learners; and a home management programme for local and outstation parents. It also has a community-based rehabilitation programme with eight outreach centres.
