Baal-Suma works with the special needs child in the field of education, behaviour correction, self-help and life-skills. It conducts psycho-educational tests, IQ, aptitude and personality tests to assess the child, and then provides counselling and child guidance, remedial tutoring and training in life-skills and vocations. Story-telling, music and dance are also used during tutoring. Baal-Suma also has tie-ups with a psychiatrist and a paediatrician to help in assessment and treatment of specific learning problems.
