VCT has a home for orphan, abandoned and destitute children who are referred through hospitals, nursing homes, remand homes and the police. It can accommodate 120 children. It is involved in domestic and international adoption of normal children and children with disability or medical problems. It places babies between 0-3 months with foster families to ensure they have a home atmosphere until they are adopted. It has a rural health care service for mothers and children, and a short stay shelter for women in crisis. It is a member of Makkala Sahaya Vani*.
