CREST offers family and career counseling, and has aptitude testing and vocational guidance for students. It conducts seminars and workshops on family life, health and sexuality education, and value education for students and teachers. It conducts five-day and three-month correspondence courses in counseling, and trains teachers in communication and counseling skills. It conducts drug abuse, alcohol, and HIV/AIDS awareness prevention and counseling programmes in schools, colleges, urban slums and rural areas. It has a documentation centre with information on family life, marriage, youth, women's health, and natural family planning. It networks at local, national and international levels. It has initiated a programme for the girl child with a focus on education, health and nutrition, and assists disadvantaged children from nearby areas with schooling, clothes, medicines and counseling.
