Sumangali Seva Ashrama has two urban higher primary schools serving 900 children. It runs 15 non-formal education centres for school drop-outs and working children in urban and rural areas. It runs 21 creches for rural children offering primary health, child care and supplementary nutrition. It runs 130 anganwadis in urban slums under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme. It has a hostel for destitute girls, and organises summer camps, sports and cultural activities for them. It also has several homes and schemes for women.
