TDH provides support to 78 voluntary agencies working in community development in the four southern states, and southern Maharashtra. Its special focus is on women and child development. It offers funding and non-financial support, including training, to its partner organisations. Its priority is providing support in the areas of health and education - especially to improve the quality of education through mobilising resources, and providing training to teachers. It provides long-term support to its partner NGOs and thus takes on very few new partners each year.
