Namarata Pai is an audiologist cum speech-language pathologist from the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore. She works towards enabling children and adults with communication disorders speak out their minds so that they can improve the quality of their life. Ms Pai was earlier associated with the Com-DEALL Trust and Sagar Apollo Hospital. She also worked as a volunteer at NIMHANS for a short period. Namrata Pai runs the Chetna Speech and Language Rehabilitation Centre where she works mainly with children between 6 months to 5 years on speech and hearing problems arising from autism, hearing impairment and cerebral palsy. She also sees children with stuttering and pronunciation errors, besides working with adults with voice disorders and post stroke language disorders.
